What type of Wedding is this?

November 23rd, 2008

Informal! Held in our yard and barn.

UPDATE: We have booked the Dave Rowe Trio to play our wedding!  Dave Rowe is the son of Tom Rowe, former member of Schooner Fare.

We’ve had a lot of questions about how to dress for this shindig.  Be Comfortable!  You will be in a barn and outside, and we want you to be able to play frisbee if you feel so inclined.  If you’re not careful, Matt will take you for a hike through the swamp too, so bring boots!

Please feel free to arrive as early as 2pm.  The earlier you arrive the more fun the setting up will be!  After the wedding we will have time to socialize, snack, and listen to some music while munching on a Tapas style meal, and to replace cake we will have Pie for all!

We are trying to make the meal a community affair.  We know many of you have specialties like Aunt Pam’s relish, or great pie like Abby’s apple and we want to try them!  If you would like to contribute to our wedding feast please Email us or Click on “What type of Wedding is this?” and leave us a post!

Margie and I will bring Seafood Salad (made w/fake seafood/whitefish) and finger rolls. We will assemble them and bring platters. Is this ok?

That sounds great. We have 2 refrigerators in the garage that we’ll be using for food storage, so we can just stick them in there if we need to. There will be people to arrange platters and get food out on tables so you can just enjoy yourselves. :)
